Question

Where are cookies stored? I know the fact that every browser got it's own cache memory and also that cookies are stored on our own machine. But where they are stored as a location on our machine?What is their file format? I tried to access the hidden folders too and through mozilla's profile folder i got access to cookies.sqlite. M i in right direction? Also some of the hidden folders i accessed were empty which is making me curious to know that if they are empty why are they created?

Most likely, cookies are stored in
C:\Documents and Settings\HERE ACCOUNT NAME\Cookies
or
C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Cookies

I don't feel it to be so easy.
I checked the given locations too and still didn't found anything.
And had it been so easy to access, security trade off will go so high.
