What programming language can i study in grade 12 to be a mechatronic engineer

Annother extremely usefull language is Javascript. Every PC has a browser and every browser supports JS.

Hi Mofor I am an Electrical Engineer and personally I find Python the most useful.

Hello, I'm a mechanical engineer and electronics technician ;). if you are asking general programming skills Louis is right. If you are going for programming embedded products then maybe C or C++ and assembler are the most common tools.

Edward , you are right that most microcontroller environments require C, such as PIC and Atmell, but I have seen a shift away from that with the advent of single board computers such as Raspberi PI and the likes you can do all your programming in Python. Your development environment is also your target environment. Of course C will never go away and in many instances it is the only option, but I see that as specialist cases. So yes C is a good tool to have in your toolbox.

if your school offers a programming elective... I would take that to help get you started... no matter what language it is... it will help familiarize you with the core concepts of programming.... and provide a structured learning environment
