Learning two languages at once

so i'm learning python.do you recommend learning something else with it?or it will affect bad on learning python?

After I finished Python course (which is obviously far from being proficient) I started C++, and for me it worked.

But as a safety measure I only went through the stuff that I felt was very clear for me in Python.

If you try to learn one topic in a second language while you have still trouble with it in the first, I think that's when things turn messy in your head.
