[Why HTML challenges]

["challenges"] why do people only challenge in html mostly is it that they only want to get more xps and attain the platinum badge or they see that html is the only language... after all the html challenge questions are too repetetive.. lets get to work with other languages too brothers and sisters.. Lets share thoughts and doubts..!!

You are right. Some people solve only HTML challenges just to get to the top of the leaderboard. HTML is the easiest weapon, that's why I turned it off.

Seniru Pasan yes i agree with you that you have to do web challenges but what about javascript its part of web design languages what about php what about python for backend web development The point is HTML is somekind of easy for anyone to master it and its challenges and one to be a pro html coder... as George S Mulbah said everybody ia good at something and we cannot judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree. thats right. my point was to suggest to people that they should move beyond knowing html and css alone cuz there is javascript too there is php and python and java..

Chris Schoellen i don't think if there will be css quizzes coz they will be way too easy to do them i guess thats the reason sololearn team excluded css, jquery and sql they are easy to learn and solve

Well the fact is HTML challenges have repetitive questions and it doesn't require much effort to solve them hence people tend to challenge more using HTML as a weapon...

guys and gals yes HTML is the majority of challenges I totally agree and yes easy in general but I personally witness many who say it is easy loosing numerous matches. Remember <!DOCTYPE HTML> <HTML lang="en"> <body> is what the client's actually see</body> in their browsers. The <head> section carries alot of weight</head> to the search engines with <meta <links and <scripts in order for the client to enjoy your logical programming you have to get this right ~ Yes, the nerve center / brain rather JAVA, JavaScript, jquery, PHP, python, c#, cpp, ruby, OR whatever language is highly important to the project at hand ~ and if you go to the challenges thread and ask there are plenty of challenges in all languages available there.

HTML Quizzes are very easy, I think they must be hard to make the challenges better.

If You look at leaderboards, HTML has huge amount of platinium players, while in i.e Java has only few :) In Java it is easier to lose (at some point in time), while HTML at top level results in more draws.

Because html isn't a programming language which means no logic questions that requires math and other stuff which also means easier questions that you could easily memorize.
