Nowadays, AI can do what humans do. Is there any way to make AI able to write programs?

yes but wouldnt be much of anything just some code that works together it takes alot more then just being able to code to make a program from (nothing) its art and with art you need to be able to think ai cant really think for its self in the way we do there heavily dependant on us we just make them look smart.

Not only will machines running AI one day code better than humans, they may one day control humans or enslave us. The human population may also one day be endangered due to AI. I know this sounds alarmist but it is a possibility many years from now. Whether it becomes a reality remains to be seen.

I think, Artificial intelligence (A.I.) can also write code, faster than humans. But that will take a lot of time, because for that, A.I. will have to learn a lot.

On the contrary, I think AI already code better than humans and they already dominate our lives.

However, I don't think AI will compete with humans for resources unless a human programs them to do so.
