Does anyone else take notes to help drill these things in your head as you go along or am I wasting time? Thanks

I wont say that its a bad learning style because different people requires different learning style, if it works for you, then go ahead and do it! I personally prefer to practice and make codes until information becomes muscle memory.

I used to take notes often but I don't do it much anymore. I would say keep going with the note taking as it is very useful especially if you have forgotten something, you can just look at your notes and your answer is there.

cool, thanks for the motivation guys. I was taking notes today, from everything to definitions to the syntax & was wondering if it was really necessary.

yeah, I definitely take advantage of the code playground if something doesn't makes sense, but I'm not yet comfortable writing my own code yet
