Yes, but on coming out of that depression you learn many new things which you didn't know before.

depression for program? If it means affection, then hell no. but if it means depression while doing coding then hell yeah! anyway I think the right word would be obsession in this case... cheers!

well i have never felt depressed while programming. obviously sometimes we all encounter problems but finding solutions to those problems is fun for me.
