So what is Anaconda, Juypter Notebook, text editor?

I know this is dumb question, but I really hope someone can give me a short, simple feedback on what these are. # I’m learning Python on my Mac

They are IDEs. Programs which allow you to write code, commonly equipped with intellisense, syntax highlighting, a debugger and more features to make your life easier.

Angelo B. There are a few Anacondas out there. Apparently it's also a snake. http://damnwidget.github.io/anaconda/ However, I agree that the OP wanted info on the distribution instead of the IDE.

Hey Hatsy, I'm sorry but Anaconda is not an Ide but a tool for installing python libraries and other python utilities
