How is video game music made nowadays?

If it's not a soundtrack recorded by a real orchestra or something like that, what programs are used to produce game music and how is it implemented?

With games like God Of War, Halo, Dark Souls, etc they actually have a group of musicians to create game music like a choir, violin people(don't know how it is called 😅), band, etc. . You can watch it on YouTube. :)
