if you know basics very well of java then you can directly move to the android app development

Yes you should try something simple to get started. I just did my first app by following an Android developers tutorial by Google. There's plenty of resources available online.

i learn java , android in same time. so you can🙂. i advice starting with simple apps to learn(like : contacts , notebook ,...).
