<!--I would suggest using svg and circle--> <!doctype html> <html> <head> <title> </title> <style> body{ /*Nothing special*/ margin: 0em; paddin: 0em background-color:#00aaaa; } div{ margin: 0em; padding: 0em; } .head{ position: fixed; top: 20px; left: 20px; width:150px; height:150px; border-radius:50%; background-color:blue; z-index:2; } .head2{ border-radius:50%; background-color: red; z-index:4; position: relative; top: 50px; left: 25px; width:100px; height:100px; } </style> </head> <body> <div class="head"> <div class="head2"></div> </div> </body> <script> </script> </html>

Margins and paddings are for knowing they don't have default margins and padddings so that i can use position better. The difference between <div class="head"> <div class="head2"> </div> </div> is that one is inside of another.
