Could Sololearn improve the Search Bar?
Could they improve the search feature so that looking for a similar question that has been asked before becomes easier for users? E.g. provide an advanced search option which uses Google Advanced Search with the domain being set to www.sololearn.com ? As the pool of users and questions grows on Sololearn, this may be a necessity to limit duplicate questions and the need for manual moderation. Alternatively, when someone attempts to post a question, could Sololearn use advanced search to find similar/matching questions and prompt the user to rethink their submission? This might make the posting of questions more idiot proof.

I want it from long time!
But, posting this in Q&A section does nothing except getting users' approval and up votes! You should send feedback to them. Hatsy already suggested some thing to you already you know!

Roneel I searched for a similar question but could not find a close enough match, which is one reason I post this question. qwerty if I just send feedback in the app it might fall on deaf ears. By posting in the Q&A section, I get an idea of how much community support I have. And if there is much support there is a better chance that the administrators take some action if/when I send feedback.

Good idea ⏩ Prometheus ⏪ . Maths Devotee happy to encourage anyone in their Sololearn journey.

Kavεis many thanks. What you said seems to happen too many times. Until and unless the manual search capability (search IQ?) of us average users can be increased to the level of moderators, an advanced search tool will be useful here IMHO. Additionally, contrary to what some have said, I think the Q&A section is an ideal place to post this question because a) the question is also about posting questions in the Q&A section and b) I have seen elsewhere that it is appropriate to post questions about Sololearn features (and I extend this to also include their lack thereof) in the Q&A section.

Sonic It's one of those problems that most seasoned learners on SL know, but nobody really talks about much. I admit to have been using Google instead of our local search bar when I can't get the results I want here. I really hope the devs would consider this suggestion.

I really thought that too. The search system still don't works fine. I tried to search some keywords, I found lots of question but none with all keywords. So I don't know if the question was not made before, or if the question is hidden on the great amout of existing and not really related questions.

Like how when you create a lesson you are asked to check if a similar lesson exists, I think we could do something similar for questions

Sonic I didn't said anywhere that it's similar question!
I tagged yeva's post 'cause it says "post general question and open-ended discussions in your feed"
Anyways I know force of community, but I saw many question suggesting something always been answered that one should feedback Sololearn even by mods! Even I posted one question and got that back!
I know you are platinum and powerful having follower base. So, your question has much possibility for gaining traction! But remember posts which gained traction are displayed to more people than popular Question! So, for your support thing you will gain more in your feed. And Hatsy suggested that to you if you remember!
Anyway I have no problem regarding this! Actually like that but mods not suggest this thing so I advised you!
It depends upon your decision!👍

I use Google Advanced Search on Q&A all the time. SoloLearn doesn't need to do anything different. It would be nice if they expanded the training to include lessons on how to get started with the app and make the best of it's features. The fact that every post gets added to Google search database is a major feature.

That's true I had problen with it too

Yes, I agree

You can post your feedback in the app. (Three dots at the top left -> Feedback)

I COMPLETELY AGREE YOU😔😞
But SoloLearn has a bunch of Q&A posts about a bunch of things with a bunch of keywords
So posting would be nearly impossible

Sonic I'll totally support this! I agree, I cant find a question, I'll post it, and then some mods will catch and show me like 5 other questions
