nope I have a 4gb ram lappy, I had to buy a 4gb ram just to run the emulator on Android studio without freezing my lappy.
But now with 8Gb my life is Awesome, I guess these days 8Gb is the new normal for desktop environment .
Also I tried disabling unused plugins and features in studio but emulator would still hang my machine.

There are lots of Google and StackExchange reports that this configuration will work, but it's going to be *slow*.
There appear to be YouTube tutorials for how to make this better; just search for "Android Studio" and 4GB.

I did read that (for 4GB'ers) it would take upwards of 10 minutes to spawn the emulator. Windows 10 also performs very badly on 5400-RPM disk drives; drive speed is far more likely a "cut corner" on budget systems so who knows if that was a major factor for them.
Note: Slow emulators* could be the (old, I hope) common error of not actually *installing* the HAXM virtualization software (for some !!reason!! Android Studio only 'installed the installer', which you had to manually find, then run!).
Then, the best low-memory-please-stop-swapping-so-I-can-work solution I know of is to run the emulator and Studio separately. Starting the emulator directly (from a command prompt, not through Studio) is not well-documented or very usable in my opinion.
* Assuming the SM/BIOS has virtualization (and it's enabled) in the first place...this feature is pretty important

Istiaq Nirab If you want to be a great programmer you do not need an expensive, state of the art computer. What you need is a brilliant mind that is creative and energetic. Money and GB's will not make up for a poor mind. It will just make the junk your mind puts out run faster on a computer. Use whatever tools you have at your disposal. Even if it is just a piece of paper and a pencil. If you learn all the basics well you will be a better programmer than 99.9% of those with the fancy stuff. The first computer programme was written by a woman, Lovelace, more than a 100 years before the computer was even invented. Because she had a brilliant mind 👍
