Webpage or application programming?

I know that creating games and applications is a far better way to spend your studying time on, but I find webpage coding a lot more interesting and enjoyable... Is it possible to live a happy life just coding webpages or would you still need to do something else in order to have enough money to make it through a day? Will some companies give you a permanent job or will you only be able to work for one (or more) companies temporarily? I'm still going to learn all the types of programming languages I can and I'm still planning on making a ton of games using Java, Kotlin, C#, Delphi ect. This is just for interests sake.

"... creating games and applications is a far better way to spend your studying time on... " Not true. You are the one who determines what is best for yourself, and what is best for yourself is a different way of saying what interests you most. As to where you got that idea that front-end developers don't get to live a happy life without companies giving them permanent jobs is beyond me. Would you look at some of these statistics https://money.usnews.com/careers/best-jobs/web-developer https://techlaunch.io/blog/job-outlook-for-web-developers-in-2017/
