Why isn't there a GUI for database visualisation rather to do everything with SQL?
Studying SQL commands to function with databases reminds me of Command line versions of operating systems that were replaced by GUI. So my doubt is why hasn't been this creation of database, modification/alteration of database & visualisation not made GUI? I know excel/access did to some extent, but why not completely? I mean we've to design database and also design & develop front for the end user. So if database were GUI the work would have been very easy. isn't it? please clarify.

I may know of some :)
SQL Query Analyzer / Enterprise Manager / Management Studio
MySQL Workbench
PHPMyAdmin
Oracle Data Modeler
I think Access can generate database diagrams...
Each of these has various representations in GUI form, including auto-generating a nice schema view or providing entry fields instead of forcing you to construct SQL.
I don't have any of these installed at the moment so this is just from memory.
