You can use atom also but it's not easiest. It is hackable that is you can modify it.

I use sublime on linux and windows and vs code. Android i use anwriter and dcoder.

Sublime text is very easy to use ..Once you get familiar with sublime then I recommend you to use Vscode as its a complete code editor and its more than just a editor.

It depends on what language you use. I use notepad++ for html,css and such and vs or idle for python,c,cpp and such

Depends on OS, easiest i find is vim on linux and textpad on windows
