Can anyone suggest how to start freelancing ???

I have completed HTML css JavaScript jquery and bootstrap beside SoloLearn learn I am learning on freeCodeCamp , Tutorials on YouTube and working on some websites now from this stage onward I want to start working on small projects as freelancer even free of cost or a very small amount of payment just want to start or online internships.

From experience:

Upwork has their legal stuff together spot on but are still lacking in the platform department. (I've been trying to get them to fix their filters for months.)

Toptal is the opposite -- they have an excellent platform but their contracts are incredibly questionable at best. (Who doesn't put their address on their legal documents? Honestly. Basic stuff people.)

Most other platforms (e.g. Freelancer.com, etc.) attract cheaper clients, so the pay sort of sucks and the platform isn't great either.

If you're just starting out, I usually recommend (since this topic comes up often) that you start with a project for a family or family friend -- someone not likely to be too hard on deadlines but also won't dodge payment.
