Artificial Intelligence using C/C++? Why isn't this a good idea?
Everyone these days wants to learn python just to have a taste if AI. My friends just say python has a lot of inbuilt libraries, but why doesn't it make sense to me? Even other languages can be used to AI right? If not why?

Python mostly used for AI and machine learning but you can do more with python like even web development ,gaming, big data etc.
Why python used in AI remember that AI is also very complex thing. mechanism of AI is very hard and complex if we use very complex languages like c++ ,java and other AI become more complex which is very hard and things become more complex, more extra time will be required and AI can be become slow but python is solution due to its small syntax and very useful functions.and it can be learn in small time so that's why mostly python used in AI but other languages are also used because python is not fast but in small amount.mostly AI project done with python.

A list of advantages::
-Easy to learn
-Allows quick prototyping
-Lots of built in libraries
-Great for making neural networks
-Great for experimenting....
-Less code has to be written to get it working
.....etc.....
The reason most people don't use c/c++ for AI development::
-Hard to learn and master
-Requires lots of experience
-Does have lots of built-in libraries
-Longer experimentation time
-Lots of code has to be written to get it working
Python is easier to use but your programs aren't as fast or efficient as they would be in c/c++..
Lets say you write a neural network in python in 6 hours..It will require 10-24 hours for you to get it working in c/c++..It can be really discouraging for beginners...
You should go with whichever you want, but if you wanna get into AI quickly then python is your bestFriend..
