Programming sound systems

Is there anyone here who is expirienced or know somthing about programming sound systems like amps, DAW, VST, music cards synths... I'm mostly interested in programming amps and other similar hardwere, but I guess any sound system engineer could probably help. Where one could start? What languages are used? What's about math? How much knowladge of electro engineering a programmer would need to have?

Hello i am not a sound system engineer but I am an intermediate programmer and I know that most machines are usually written in something like c or maybe just assembler and when it comes to math I'm not sure for general programming only basic arithmetic is needed.

Ok I will answer my own question. I found a book that looks fine for those who are maybe interested in subject. I just need to read through it. https://www.google.rs/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://nikospapachristou.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/handbook-for-sound-engineers.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwic5raynIvfAhXLjiwKHeNaAtcQFjAEegQIBxAB&usg=AOvVaw18Lej-tRFjla5H3rHho9me&cshid=1544100033192 Still, I want to keep open questions about this subject, if possible. Those who come to this question feel free to share your opinion and even better expirience and knowledge. Links to opensource drivers and other refrences. I'm just giving ideas. I hope that this can become nice discussion.
