Is swift easier then java

Generally, yes. Java is seen as one of the harder programming languages and from experience i can say that i personally find swift to be easier. However, it totally depends on which language you are more comfortable with. For example, i have gotten really comfortable with python but not so much with javascript but that does not inmediatly mean that javascript is more difficult
