Phyton is usually considered an easy language for beginners, but other options are Java and C#. The reason people don't usually suggest more complicated languages is because it might turn new people away or have them give up halfway because they can't keep up.

I always hear the Phyton is easy tu understand in comparision with other Lenguages. However I recommend you to make the effort to learn c++ first. It is more complicate, but once you understand it, the other lenguages will be a LOT easier.

c# is definitly worth a try. It was my first language, and it's much easier to learn than People want to make you think. But you must buy real books, and they will cost real money. In those books, the pros will show you how to code professional, keyword MVVM, etc.
