Why do we use parentheses in <p> Hello </p> and slash too ???

To help the browser that the paragraph start and it ends or else the browser will get load it will not understand where to stop

without /p it will take as a opening a new paragraph

First <p> is a sign to start new paragraph
And </p> the one with slash, mark the end of the paragraph
