PHP and C++ at the same time

Hello, my name is Maksim. Im a student and it is my first year. So I have a little problem : at the university we study C++ and in general it is the way of cryptography, but I feel that creating websites is more interested for me than cryptography. Now I have known HTML, CSS some frameworks and I want to learn PHP but I do not know how difficult it will be. I mean if I study PHP and C++ at the same time I can get confused in syntaxis. What would you do in this situation? Can the cryptography help be usefull in creating sites?

Should be no problem, both have similar syntax yet have distinct difference and can be recognize easily. and yes cryptography are important
