Hey Marie, I can certainly understand your concern, as the tech industry can seem like a labyrinth of prerequisites and skills. Speaking from my own journey, I'd say that while QA experience isn't an absolute prerequisite for a career in Front End Web Development, it can be immensely valuable. QA trip instills a eager eye for detail, a knack for systematic testing, and a deep draw close for end-user satisfaction. These features can appreciably decorate your work as a Front End Dev, as it is all about growing a polished, convenient experience. My personal trip is a testament to this synergy. I commenced in QA, and the skills I received there, such as debugging, understanding person needs, and efficient testing, have been priceless in my transition to Front End Development.
