Why when I lose a challenge, my Score reduce so much?

I win more challanges than i lose, but my Daily score stay negative.

If you have more xp in a particular language than your competitors e. g. in Java, then on losing you will loss more xps.
For example, in Java if you have slightly more xps then your opponent you will lose 15 to 18 ( but not 32) xps.
If you win you will get those xps.

In short, the amount of xp you will win or lose depends on the xp you had against your opponent for a particular language.
The higher your xp the more severely you lose .
So, it had nothing to do with the level.

I think maybe there's a relation with the level of other players but the score's method is not clear.
