I'm pretty sure I've answered this before somewhere, but maybe it got deleted. Oh well, anyways...

Once your website has a domain name and is hosted, you need to tell Google to crawl & index your website (if your hosting service doesn't do this for you). Then, you can wait 3-6 months for your SEO to kick in (search engines respect longevity).
