How do i write a new C++ program from scratch on Eclipse?

I don't like this IDE it's yo complicated for beginners..

The only way i know is to open a new c++ project and under executables, click ‘Hello world’ and click ‘Finish’. Then erase the existing codes to start afresh with your program of choice. Quite a long process... But i'm thinking there should be a better or more conventional alternative. Share your thoughts please🙏
