Geovanny Martínez Forero in some contest late submitted and less upvoted code too choosen as cotd so the quality is too judge in the assignment submission.

Shudarshan Rai 👑 In that case, It seems that "Today's Challenge" is triggering the opposite effect. You could code everyday for taking part in but if you want to write a COTD, you would need more time to prepare it. At least, if you do not take part in.

Today's Challenge is interesting for different reasons. One of them, the 3 most upvoted codes are rewarded with 1000XP each. Although, web codes are more likely to gain the upvotes. With a COTD, as far as I know, you don't get an XP-reward. Is it like that or am I wrong?

⚡️Prometheus ⚡️If they are not mentioned, it is as if they did not exist. So, one would understand that there will be no more CODT. I like your point that "winning codes are technically COTD". But I'm not quite sure, if upvoting is the most appropriate way to choose them. I mean...Is it possible that a code with only 1 upvote be better than the winning ones?!

So far, today's Live Challenge has been so trivial that judging it by upvotes seems quite fitting imo.
