This page offers the basic of ruby if you want. I would recommend startung Java, wich is the main language in android studio, to develop apps in android ( if that is what you mean)

Are you asking which programming language is best to start with ? or are you asking where to learn about Ruby ?

In my opinion python and C++ are easy to start with. This is what I have heard from some friends. Also, for application development you can use Java which someone mentioned before and also C++ can be used as well because it offers faster processing to your app.

I guess the language you learn first depends on the longer term goal. C# and python are common for application development. (and jquery, SQL are good "add on" courses" For web/UI development HTML, CSS are good options. If you have no programming experience at all, I'd suggest getting familiar with the HTML structure as an example of how programming languages are structured. Ultimately, practice will be the key to getting better. The sololearn topics are great for this. (im self taught)
