If a question marked as mfd (marked for deletion), can the user who makes the question delete that tag?

As far as I know, the original poster can delete the mfd, but only if they modify their question so that it complies with the guidelines. When in doubt, it is best to ask a gold/platinum moderator before deleting it.
Deleting the mfd tag without sufficient cause may result in account suspension.

Ji⩎❡❡a ន០⩎a 🐺 The user can delete the tag BUT this is seen like insubordination because mfd is added by mods and removing mfd is same like say "i dont take cure of mods role". In practice the system/app allow you to do BUT you have not to do. If you suspect than your post is unrightly mfd marked, you can contact any mod for more checks but never remove the tag yourself

://Maybe moderators mark "mfd" and platinum or gold moderators delete it, although after all strike process

Yep @Kishalaya is right. I've seen John Wells telling a newbie user after he removed mfd that he would suspend account if he do again.

If the person who asked the question deletes the mfd tag without changing the question, the question must be deleted immediately!
