I want to learn how to program machines to do certain tasks, will this app teach me the basic or base to that?

Starting out it's seems this app is webpage center and I just want to know if it'll help me do what I want to do.

This app is perfect to learn the basics, i recommend you Python, it's a simple language and you can do the tasks you ask. But don't confuse simple with bad. Python is one of the most used languages, especially by its libraries that allow to make artificial intelligences.

this app will teach you the “basics” of programming, but its no magic bullet as you will need to use it in combination with other learning platforms and tutorials to do what you want.

if you really want to control your machine then id suggest learning command line programming such as bash(linux) or batch/powershell(windows) which isnt taught here.
