Don't spend time in asking such questions. They are just a weapon for programmers to build something.
Java is a very powerful programming language where as Kotlin is new to industry but aggressive though.
You can access java libraries while coding in Kotlin, so don't say that they are competitors.
JAVA CANNOT BE REPLACED WITH KOTLIN AS KOTLIN IS LIKELY TO BE CONFINED IN ANDROID DEVELOPMENT WHEREAS JAVA HAS A MUCH WIDER SCOPE IN SOFTWARE INDUSTRY!!!!

Kotlin is supported by Android Studio. Think...

No. Main reason is because legacy software's.
A lot of companys invested in softwares in past years.
Some of them was really difficult to made. Sometimes the complexity is so huge that if you reuse some parts of software is more secure than rebuild from zero. Furthermore companys pay a lot to maintain this softwares running.
Combined with Java
popularization and your characteristic of "Run everywhere" make me believe Java will stay if us some years.

Kotlin has replaced java, but only in Android development. If u wish to learn java only for Android and nothing else, i suggest you to start with kotlin instead. Google recently made Kotlin as their official Android development language.(ie in 2019)

It will most lile not replace java. Java is widely used outside of android development.
But it will be interesting to see if it replaces java in the term of main android language.
