There is no one right thing, a beginner can start with any of the tutorials. It depends on what you want to do. (If you want to do web, HTML is okay as a start.)

Yes, html is a nice programming language for beginners in coding as it is more easier and user friendly. It can be used very easily by people who are not friendly with coding.

Maybe i dont reflect usual thinking, but i think than at start its good try multiple paths and any decision will be taken by learner on the path... At example, you can try to learn web development and python at same time and you naturally will choose which is more appropriated for you

Don't worry...about choosing a language in the beginning because every language has its own basics and only some language are related to the previous programming languages...so go with what u opt..

Yeah you are on the right track, it would give you exposure as to what it means to write a Code. Although Html is not a programming, but a markup language because we you tags. HTML:Structure(Skeleton) CSS: Presentation(The Skin) JS:Functionality(The nerve system)

If you are interested in web programming, html is the most basic language you should learn. And yes, you made the right decision on this! Moving forward, you can learn css and JavaScript to polish your skills in front-end, while Ruby and SQL for back-end. Keep learning and one day you will be a great programmer! 😄
