What is the logic behind 8 in output

Question

When i enter c=a±b: before the scanf it shows output as 8. But when i enter c=a+b: after the scanf it shows the right right input sum.

Please show your code. If you print an uninitialized variable before you assigned a value with scanf, its initial (garbage) value will be printed
