Yeah, my advice is the same. You'll learn the basics of computers when you start college. If you're wishing to learn more prior, then you have access to the internet, which is the most intense learning machine on the planet.

Let me ask you this. What DO you know already? What is your experience with computers? What exactly are you trying to learn? etc... Give me more information and I'll happily provide you with advice + resources to assist you.

If you're going to college, typically they'll have courses to teach you the basics. If they don't, you need to let them know that you don't know the basics so they can properly place you into a class that'll help you learn that.
