I can't give you a general answer, but I can give mine: I am not a programmer, I am a Psychology student, and Python is clear and looks human enough for me. It does not look like a secret code made only for people that work with programming, like other languages do.

In terms of working with it, I think each language has more points in some areas. Python seems to be very used on data science, machine learning, etc., if you want to work with that then Python will be very relevant for you.
