As a baselevel programming language C is very important, but if you learned C# well you have more chance to be hired than if you learned C well.

if you want to make games c# cause you have the unity engine (i think c++ is best for games)

if you want to make opperating systems c is your friend

well i choose c# over c because you have to define its data type in c while c# use the var key word so i go for c#
