Do we need to learn p5.js or min.js or collide.js for creating a small JavaScript game?

I have seen many sololearners using these js libraries in creating games . How does these libraries actually help? Do they shorten the code?

They do shorten your code because they provide some prebuild stuff you most lilely need for games.
But you can do all of that yourself too. So it isnt necesarry but it helps.
