What about the AI learning stuff?

Question

I am kinda new in programming... But I really want to connect my programming life with AI things, so I would like to know where to start from, and also which languages to learn.
Is it actually possible to make AI as good as human? Like if it would learn and improve as a baby, and "grow" into a big man with a lot of knowledge and brains? Or is it an unreal fantasy?

If you want to learn AI, you should probably start with python. Although not unreal, an AI as good as a human (or AGI) was never achieved; but it could be dangerous (off topic)

I see... This sounds pretty intriguing! At least that is not unreal... Well, I suppose that is an enormous risk, but still... I must not give up, and try to create something like that! I will try to do my best to raise this "AI child" like kind and loyal creation! Thank you for your answers ^_^
