Why is SoloLearn such a high demaning network app?

I must say Sololearn is a high demanding wifi (network) app. Sometimes when I challenge people the slides take very long to load or bomb out completely. Also when I start the app it has a long loading time on the activity feed. My internet connetion is fast thow. Hope the internet network problems stay away now.

I've been having network issues with the entire app, everything just loads very slowly. The web version is even slower. A while ago I inspected network traffic in the app on my phone, and there were some obvious inefficiencies in the network traffic. One example is that when you first load the app, it makes 15+ different requests, first for authorization, then fetching lots of data at once. Another example is that when loading a user's codes, it loads in the entire code body with the list, even though it doesn't appear to use it (since it has to load again when you click on it). Also, it loads all achievements with each profile, instead of just a list of unlocked ones. While there are some parts of the app that seem like they could be optimized, I think it's probably something with either their servers not having enough power, or maybe not enough servers to distribute the load. If all devices are making 15+ requests when a user loads the app, that could slow down a server a lot.

I have noticed this kind of problem also when chatting with my friends on sololearn, so, I would say it is because of downloading and uoploading data to american website directly probably

That sort of problem is prevalent since almost a year now. I have never seen an explanation of what exactly is the cause, only the guessings of other users.
