Notepad is fine,but there are much more better IDEs than notepad.Notepad++ is better than simple notepad.Highlightening of the syntax or intelisense is very heplful for coding. IDEs have also bulided in functionalities for compilation,linking and also for packaging of final app.

yes, but notepad wont give you autocompletion or live warnings/errors
