Why JAVA icon has a sign of a cup of tea with smoke?

I believe that Java is a special kind of coffee and the name of the language was inspired by this.

I think, this icon is used because developers/programmer use tea/coffee when they get tired or may cause of they moslty use to drink tea/coffee. invoke me if I am righ or not.
