Java on Linux?

Question

I have been using Linux for about 6 months now and the one thing I just can't seem to get is Java... Coding Java on Windows was easy since you just have to install, not move things around and put it in folders inside a specific drive ect.

How do I get Java support on my Linux (Mint)?
