As I understand it, if we know how the code works then there is little to no need to memorize every steps taken to accomplish the task. I mean, you know how it should be done, it's all in your head, by the time you are done with it, it will be recorded in your brain. By then, unless you leave coding long enough, that memory will remain, it's automatic, our brain doesn't need a Save button pressed to record it, it's amazingly brilliant. BTW, if I were you, I wouldn't worry much about how to code fast, I'd worry more about how to code right - readable - extensible and maintainable (yup, freaky me). And a final note, I'm failing to relate fast coding with memorization. Somehow I'm missing the relationship between the title and the Description (sorry). And IF you meant syntax memorization then no need - today's IDEs are well equipped with syntax highlighting & intelligence suggestion support, so there ..

Like in every other domain, the more you practice, the faster you become

If you're coding regularly even your fingers know what's next step😂

Rather Than Thinking About How To Code Fast You Must Think How To Code Short And This Is Something Which You Can Achieve By Writing Your Own Algorithms Once You Are Friendly With Writing Algorithms You Can Achieve Speed In Coding.
