Why do you accept or decline a challeng, and why must people with higher levels challenge much lower levels more than once?

i dont understand after your skill level is 12 or 13 points higher than mine you choose me under level 5 to challenge, i accept because practice is always good, untill you come back time after time, why???? i guess gratefull for her it takes everyone to teach and learn something i guess. i still love solo though, her not so much.:&
