Screen and Audio recording programs?

Question

Using Windows for this I would like to record some teaching or project videos, maybe with PIP (picture in picture) too like Bob Tabor does as that seems really well done and useful to pass along knowledge and fun.
Any suggestions for what software to help do that AND what sites to upload such content too (I suppose we all know YouTube and Vimeo as possible places, but others as well?)
