Someone wants to learn python with me?

I'm a beginner in programming and get stuck all the time, and learning with someone else always helps me.

Liat123 I don't see evidence of you even having started the Python tutorial. Gradually do these lessons and practice the examples on code playground.

Do you research things you don't understand? In the beginning I didn't do as much research, if any, that I should have done. I ended up getting frustrated and quitting a lot. I kept getting stuck in 1 learning source and would only look for answer inside of it. Most of time though, I need to look elsewhere for a better explanation.

For me personally, I could spend hours researching something until I find someone explaining it in a way I can understand. I prefer YouTube because I don't really grasp things that I read.

Also, when I watch a video or read something, I will watch or read through the whole thing, then I'll go back through and follow along. I've started putting together Python files that list each thing I can do with something. For instance, Strings, I've got a file with lines for each thing I can use on Strings. I put comments in the code to explain what each thing does. This way when I want to do something and can't remember the syntax, I can pull up this file and see the syntax and my notes.

I get stuck in the writing of the code, I don't know how to use the material while answering an exercise.. from what I know i can't upload a photo in here, so any other advise? Cause I'm starting to get desperate :/

Sonic I'm on the 7th lesson on the app, but also took most lessons on code academy plus 2 courses that I quit cause every time I get stuck on an exercise for days and weeks and all the metirial get lost in the meantime :/

DataBass those are good advices but I feel like I haven't got the confidence and the experience to use the knowledge while writing.. I see a question, search Google and nothing makes sense.
Learning the theories and from this app is pretty fun and almost easy, but then there are tests and my mind goes blank..

Check out Mike Dane on YouTube. He has some Python videos that might help you get started. I like how he explains it.

It's important to write your own code though, no matter how simple it is. It helps solidify the different concepts.

If you have any specific questions about a certain concept, SoloLearn is a good place to ask. It's good practice to Google something before asking others. As many questions have been asked in the past on different forums, you'll get an answer quicker than waiting for someone to reply to your question.
