Pop doesn't seem to be arbitrary

Pop, removes the first value always. Though it says to be arbitrary. Moreover for some reason it can't b indexed , though i read it can be in other places

Which language are you talking about? And what source of information are you quoting "arbitrary" and "can't be indexed"?
