Curious about JavaScript and Python, C++ included.

Question

Is JavaScript and Python somewhat alike? I never used Javascript but I’m learning it in my computer science class and with some experience with Python, I noticed some similarities.
Also, I know by next semester I’ll be learning C++. I heard its hard and I am a beginner with no knowledge of the program. How should I prepare myself for it and is it really that hard?

I didnt found much similarities between javascript and python but if you start to learn C language you can see the origins of C in python and you will understand that where did these syntaxes come from.
C++ is harder than python but if you try well and do many projects with it,then you will learn it and maybe one day you love C++ more than python😁
I think the hardest part of C++ is the OOP parts.
