What kind of programming language is needed in the network industry and cybersecurity? Who has experience in this direction, what should we focus on?

I might probably choose cybersecurity over networking because cybersecurity is an art to master and is pretty much in demand.
But I will answer your question, if you want to get into networking then you should have a sound knowledge on network components from routers to switches to different protocols and what not. Knowing C and C++ is more than enough for networking.
As far as cybersecurity is concerned than you should start with learning Linux OS. I mean learn the linux command lines. They are not codes and you have to remember them and not build them. Once you do that then learn some shell scripting. After that you can install kali linux on your system and start practicing to do simple things like hacking wifi and stuff. Then learn penetration testing. By the time you complete this you will know what you have become.👍
